Pedodontic Treatment

What is Pedodontic?

According to the FDA pedodontic is a branch of dentistry that preserve and conserve childrens dentition, the main objective are to prevent tooth decay, solve pediatric dental problems and educate children how to maintain their oral hygiene

Dental treatment for children might be sometimes difficult, because of the lack of communication with the little patient. Ideally, parents should bring the child to a dentistry clinic as soon as he got his first temporary teeth. This way the child will get used to the atmosphere and will not be scared later of the dental treatment. It is not recommended for parents to wait until the first pain appears to pay a visit to the dentist.
